About the list
The National Pokédex numbers every species in the order it was introduced, starting with the Kanto starters and ending with the most recent additions from Scarlet and Violet’s expansions. Regional forms, Mega Evolutions and other alternate forms share their base species’ number and are not listed separately here. Type listings follow each species’ current typing, so Clefairy appears under Fairy, its type since X and Y.
Sprites are the Generation V pixel style throughout, official where they exist and fan-made in the same style for later generations. To rank any of these, head back to the picker and use Edit pool to narrow the field.
